Nothing Phone 2 Launch date

Nothing Phone 2 to launch this Summer, with SD 800 series

Nothing has confirmed that the much-awaited Nothing Phone (2) will be released soon, with the London-based tech startup confirming a launch date. According to the most recent update, the Phone will be available throughout the British Summer. However, the specific month of the release has yet to be given, and we will have to wait for more information from the corporation in the following weeks or months.

Based on the design of its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 2 is anticipated to have a similar open design as the Nothing Phone 1. The tech giant announced a partnership with Qualcomm to equip the Phone with the powerful Snapdragon 8 series CPU, implying that the handset will be more expensive than its predecessor. Nothing has been revealed about the Phone (2) being a “premium” offering, implying that consumers can expect top-of-the-line specifications at a higher price point.

Given that the Nothing Phone 1 was released in India, it is quite likely that the Nothing Phone 2 will be released there as well. However, while the Nothing Phone 1 was designed for the mid-range market, it is now available at a significantly lower price during Flipkart sales. According to sources, the Nothing Phone 1 would be available at a discounted price of 25,999, including bank discounts, during the next sale on Flipkart.

Nothing Phone 2 possible specs

From the official teasers, the Nothing Phone 2 would be significantly improved than its predecessor, with top-of-the-line technology. The Nothing Phone 1 had a 6.55-inch flexible OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz to 120Hz, haptic touch motors, HDR10+ capability, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both the front and back panels. A 4500mAh battery with 33W rapid charging capabilities powered the phone. However, the charger and clear phone cover were not included in the box.

On the backside panel of the Nothing Phone 1, a 50-MP Sony IMX766 sensor is combined with a 50-MP Samsung JN1 sensor. A 16-MP selfie camera is placed within the hole punch display for selfies and video chats. The camera app includes a variety of modes, including macro and night modes for both the front and back cameras.

The Nothing Phone 1 is powered by Android 12 with the unique NothingOS layer, giving it a near-stock Android experience. Every two months, the corporation has committed to providing three years of Android upgrades and four years of security fixes. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and face unlock capabilities, among other things.
